Privacy Policy — lanegain.com

1. Who we are

This website is operated by LaneGain SIA, registration No. 40203763581, legal address Dzirnavu iela 6A-2, Rīga, Latvia ("LaneGain", "we"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact for any privacy question: sales@lanegain.com.

This policy covers the website lanegain.com only. The LaneGain application (app.lanegain.com) is covered by its own terms and data processing agreement with each customer organisation.

2. What data we collect

When you request access or contact us — through the early-access form or by email: your name, company name, work email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message, plus the date and time of the request.

When you visit the website — our hosting and security provider processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect the site: IP address, browser and device information, the requested page and the time of the request. We do not use this data to identify you.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

The website search runs in your browser and does not send your search terms to us. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse; these do not require consent.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your request, set up trial or early access and communicate with you about it — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep the website secure and working — our legitimate interest in operating a safe service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • We will send you marketing emails only if you separately agree to receive them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

4. Who receives your data

We use carefully selected service providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery and security.
  • Resend — delivery of the email generated by the early-access form.
  • Google (Google Workspace) — our business email, where your request is received and answered.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of these providers are based in, or may access data from, the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Requests and related correspondence are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer — then the data becomes part of the customer relationship and is kept as required by contract and law.

Technical access logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, write to sales@lanegain.com. We will reply within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian supervisory authority — Datu valsts inspekcija (Data State Inspectorate), www.dvi.gov.lv — or with the authority in your country of residence.

8. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page with its date.
